Black Pearl Ginseng and Citrus Formula pill 40g

There are several different formulas by the name of Jian Pi Wan ('Strengthen the Spleen Pill'), all of which have the same clinical actions. It was originally recorded in texts on Chinese medicine in 17th century China. Although the original formula contained thirteen ingredients, modern formulations typically contain only six, and this formula is strongly focused on its specific treatment principles, allowing a broad range of clinical applications. Furthermore, because of the economy of ingredients, it is compatible with a wide variety of other formulas in the treatment of patients with multiple TCM syndrome-patterns.

Atractylodes macrocephala (Atractylodes) rhizome equiv. to dry	70.3mg
Wolfiporia cocos fruit equiv. to dry	46.9mg
Citrus reticulata (Citrus peel) fruit peel equiv. to dry	23.4mg
Codonopsis pilosula (Codonopsis) root equiv. to dry	70.3mg
Crataegus pinnatifida (Asian Hawthorn) fruit equiv. to dry	70.3mg

Cautions

If taking iron supplements (or supplements containing iron), do not take at the same time as this formula

This formula contains Hordeum Vulgare, commonly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine may result in trace amounts of gluten appearing in formula regardless of the part used. Thus these formula should be avoided by people with sensitivity or caeliac disease.
