Wild Cordyceps are so rare, potent, and highly regarded that they’re worth more per ounce than gold making them one of the most expensive herbs in the world. Today, modern “fermentation” technology has allowed us to grow cultivated Cordyceps at a far less expense.
Studies have shown that the cultivated variety shares all the same benefits and nutritional profile as wild Cordyceps and is just as potent and efficacious.
Cordyceps is high in polysaccharides and beta-glucans that help our body resist a wide range pathogenic bacteria, fungi and viruses. It has been shown to help regulate blood pressure and strengthen heart muscle. Overall, Cordyceps is an extremely effective and powerful life-enhancing agent.
Ingredients:
Cordyceps Mushroom (CS-4) Extract 10:1*
*Liquid fermented (vegetarian based medium) CS-4 mycelium. No added grains, starch, or fillers!
Teelixir mycelium extracts are grown using modern “fermentation” technology. This allows Teelixir to grow the mushroom mycelium in big liquid tanks to produce large quantities of the cultivated mushroom, very quickly and at a far less expense than the wild material. Studies have shown that the cultivated variety shares similar nutritional benefits and a chemical profile closely related to the wild mushroom. They are considered just as potent and efficacious.
Note: Many lab-grown medicinal mushrooms is mycelium grown on grain. Analysis has shown that mycelium on grain has low levels of beta-glucans (polysaccharides), undetectable levels of triterpenoids and very high levels of starch. Contrary to mycelium grown using liquid fermentation, medicinal mushroom products that are mycelium grown on grain produce very minimal amounts of the important compounds contained in medicinal mushrooms.
