Dosage
Adults- add 5 g (1½ metric teaspoon) to cold beverages. Stir and serve. Take once daily with a meal or as professionally prescribed.

Children under 12 years- only as professionally prescribed.

Medicine interactions
Magnesium may decrease the absorption and efficacy of some medications. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) or thyroid hormone, separate doses by at least 2 hours

Diuretic use may increase excretion of magnesium into the urine
